Introduction:

Rosé consumption has become popular once again in Lebanon.  We have expanded our range with this product, which is designed to be light, fresh and easy to drink.

Vineyard Information:

- Location: Dhour Zahle

- Soil: Clay and limestone

- Exposure: South / South East

- Area: 9 ha

- Altitude: 1200-1310 m

- Size: double Guyot

- Age of vines: 20 years

- Number of vines per hectare: 4000

- Yield: 30 hl / ha

- Cultural methods: biological

 

Winemaking process:

- During the harvest of our red grapes, after de-stemming and crushing, the saignee is performed as the tank fills

- Grapes are harvested at phenolic maturity, the color extraction is very fast, and the juices are then decanted in cold temperatures for 24 hours before we start the fermentation

- Fermentation: 3 weeks

- Partial Malolactic Fermentation

- Bottled in May and then rested at least 4 months in the cellar before selling

 

Tasting advice:

- Serving temperature: 5°C

- Store: 5 years

- Wine and food pairing: summer wine or drunk as an aperitif

 

Tasting notes:

- Clear and limpid wine, with a pale pink color

- The nose is open, very fruity and expressive

- In the mouth, the attack is supple and fresh; there are aromas of red fruits: redcurrant, blackcurrant and raspberry

- The mouth is coated and very pleasant, meaty with a velvety texture
